Tax Deductions
The Regional Parks Foundation was established in 1969 as a private 501(c)(3) non-profit to help improve access to the East Bay Regional Park District’s broad array of parklands, programs and services. It is the mission of the Foundation to raise funds to provide broader public access, resource enhancement and preservation, and support for educational and recreational programs. Donations made to the Foundation specifically help fund a variety of initiatives that include: Camperships for low-income and at-risk youth; environmental restoration and habitat enhancement projects; acquisition of parklands, and environmental education, to name a few.
- Membership, regardless of type or category, is fully tax-deductible to the fullest allowable by law.
- Any amount donated above the cost of your Annual Park District Permit is deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.
- Donor Circle Memberships are 100% tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.
